Christoph Krause has been a Researcher in the Plan-Based Robot Control group at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence, DFKI GmbH, since 2020. After his master’s degrees in Mechatronics and Engineering and Business Administration he  focuses his research on the development and evaluation of sensor systems and algorithms for perception in the agricultural domain.

Mr. Krause is project leader of the research project AI-TEST-FIELD, in which an outdoor test environment was set up and is operated in an agricultural environment. The project work supports the transition from research prototypes to systems suitable for industrial use, which involves the change from ideal laboratory conditions to harsh and changing environmental conditions.
